Autumn herb seed sowing
We are delighted by the popularity of Jekka's Grow at Home Subscription and Jekka's Seed Club. Simply subscribe online and regulary receive some of our culinary herb seeds to grow.

Both our seeds and kits do not contain plastic and our compost is peat-free and pots are biodegradable. We refresh the variety of seeds in both our seasonal kits and seed club each year, keeping some of the "must-have" seeds and replacing others with our new culinary favourites.

As we hope you are aware, everything we do at Jekka's Herb Farm promotes biodiversity and therefore, we champion harvesting your own seeds.
This is increasingly important with climate change, as seeds might fail one year or plants might sadly not survive an unpredicted heat wave or down pour. Thereby having a store of seeds means you will be able to refresh and keep your bit of nature going each year.
Jekka shares her tips for harvesting herb seeds in the guide linked below. Over the last month we have harvested:
- Chinese Szechuan Pepper (Zanthoxylum simulans)
- Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea)
- Korean Mint (Agastache rugosa)
- Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea)
- St John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum)
However, remember to leave some seeds for the birds or replace with bird food (ours is currently on sale here)
