Jekka's Herb Days
New for 2025, we are delighted to launch Jekka’s Herb Days. We have combined our popular open days with Jekka’s HerbFest to make special herb themed events thoughout the year.
They are two-day events running on typically the first Friday and Saturday of the month, hosted at our farm in South Gloucestershire.
Jekka's Herb Days will be run on themes celebrating herbs and include invited guest speakers and themed Herbetum tours. Plus, herb related stalls as well as food available (more to be announced in the new year).
The first two Jekka’s Herb Days we have planned are:
- Jekka’s April Medicinal Herb Days on Friday 4th April & Saturday 5th April 2025
- Jekka’s June Bee & Pollinator Herb Days on Friday 6th June & Saturday 7th June 2025

Jekka’s April Medicinal Herb Days
Herbs for medicinal purposes are vital for our health and well-being. As we start the year we have decided to focus our first herb days on the health & well-being properties of herbs so you can kick start the year and grow your own first aid kit.
We are delighted to be joined by our friend Bee McGovern as well as the National Institute of Medical Herbalists with more being announced in the new year.

Jekka’s May Open Days
Our popular open days will run on the alternate months to herb days. Unlike previous years, we will run these as morning and afternoon slots which will consist of one talk and tour.
Our first Open Day dates of the year are Friday 2nd May & Saturday 3rd May 2025, where Jekka will be sharing her award-winning knowledge of growing and looking after herbs, Hannah will be conducting Herbetum tours and we will be joined by our friend, Mike the Gardener, as well as the Woodland Trust.
Jekka’s Open Days will continue to run on the alternate months to Herb Days.
Friday 6th June & Saturday 7th June
Jekka’s June Bee & Pollinator Herb Days
Our gardens support a diverse range of biodiversity, which includes our bees and pollinators. We are dedicating our June Herb Days to these wonderful creatures as they are not only enjoyable to watch but they help produce, healthy, strong and tasty herbs.
We are pleased to be joined by our bee loving friends, Jean Vernon, Richard Rickitt and the team at the South Gloucestershire Bee Keeping Association.
