Find solace with a herbal infusion
Recently, we faced some disruption when the M5 motorway flooded, leading to road closures and a surge of traffic through our peaceful country lanes. After ensuring the herb farm and our plants were safe, we all came together in the kitchen to share a comforting herbal infusion. This simple act brought us a moment of calm and warmth, encouraging us to face the day with renewed positivity.
One of our favourite herbal infusions is Lemon Verbena, still in leaf till November, this infusion can lift your spirits and unwind the tension in your body and mind. Another herbal infusion that we cannot live without at this time of year is Rosemary, which is high in anti-bacterial properties this herb will clear the head and settle the stomach, it is one to remember!
