New for 2025: Jekka’s Herb Days

Jekka’s is delighted to introduce Jekka’s Herb Days, a brand-new series of themed events celebrating the growing and use of herbs. Running throughout the year at Jekka’s Herb Farm in South Gloucestershire, north of Bristol, these special events combine elements of our popular Open Days with the success of Jekka’s HerbFest, creating a series of mini Herbfests.

The first in our series, Jekka’s Medicinal Herb Days, will take place on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th April. Jekka McVicar will be joined by herbalist Bee McGovern and food writer Jenny Chandler to host a program of engaging talks alongside themed guided tours of Jekka’s Herbetum by Hannah McVicar and Claire Goulding, a Medical Herbalist.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, offering insights into herbal medicine.

    Artisan Stalls at Jekka’s

In support of local independent businesses, we are delighted to welcome three artisan stalls to the event:
    • Saskia Flower Essences, Natural flower essences
    • Shorrk, Iconic Lebanese ingredients
    • Village Pottery, Beautiful handcrafted ceramics

Plus we have Chiki Monkey, a Bristol-based caterer taking inspiration from the Middle Eastern cuisine to offer a creative and mouth watering plant-based menu.

Join us for a wonderful day.

Jekka's Herb Days are open from 9am – 4pm, featuring three talks and two different themed Jekka Herbetum tours throughout the day.
