Importance of medicinal herbs
Herbs for medicinal purposes are vital for our health and well-being.
It is wonderful that people are becoming more aware and increasingly curious about the value of herbs especially with the increasing popularism around health and well-being as well as vegan diets
As we start the year we have decided to focus our first herb days on the health & well-being properties of herbs so you can kick start the year and grow your own first aid kit.

Shorkk
Shorkk is a small, socially minded business based in Bristol with roots in Scotland and Lebanon run by Miranda and Philippe el Khazen.
Importing directly from two producers in Lebanon, they are keen to connect with "cooks who care”. Their iconic Lebanese ingredients such as olive oil, sumac and pomegranate molasses are minimally processed to maintain flavour and maximise their health benefits.
The Village Pottery
Jen creates individually hand-thrown ceramics for home and restaurants, designed to be used for many years to come. Jen makes pieces that hope to blend into the fabric of your day making little moments that bit more enjoyable. Working with a natural material which can endlessly be recycled until fired means she can create and develop ideas freely before deciding on the final pieces helping to reduce waste further along the making process. This is especially the case when designing for restaurants who want something little different.
