Participate in one of Jekka’s discovery team days or use our facilities for team bonding, formulating strategies or innovating new ideas. The backdrop of the Herbetum and the secluded location of the farm provides a unique and quiet place to work. We can tailor the day to your needs but, to give you an idea, we offer four standard discovery team days as outlined below.

Discovery team day
Jekka’s discovery team day is an inspiring day out for your team that is tailored to your needs. We would suggest a morning lecture on the myth and magic of herbs or a topic of your choice that will give you a broad and fascinating insight into herbs. This is followed by a guided Herbetum tour by Jekka or one of our senior horticulturists where participants can smell, taste and touch herbs from our collection of over 400 varieties. In the afternoon, we can offer a variety of ‘hands-on’ & interactive master classes. For example, a herbal culinary master class where you explore the flavours of herbs and edible flowers and make teas and herb vinegars to take home or a hands-on introduction to growing herbs where you can take cuttings and sow seeds.
A team discovery day is your day and as a result can be quite flexible. Below is an example programme but if you wish to focus on one thing or add in another; please let us know.

| 14:00 - 15:30 | An interactive, hands-on workshop making herbal infusions & vinegars: continuing on from Jekka's Herbetum tour, have a fresh herb infusion tasting that looks at the flavour profiles of different herbs as well as their medicinal properties. This can be followed by creating your own herb vinegars that you can take home. |

Discovery morning master class and afternoon team building
Jekka’s discovery team day consists of a morning master class, which is the perfect start to the day to help you get ready for an afternoon team building. We can tailor the topic of the master class to your requirements. Please see the full-day master class above or our available master classes online for inspiration. We suggest this takes place in the morning and will be around three hours. In the afternoon, you can use our venue for your team discussion or activity. Projectors, screens and flip charts can be provided on request.

Discovery half-day master class
An inspiring discovery half-day master class that can be tailored to your requirements. Spend three hours at our herb farm having an interactive master class, a demonstration or a guided tour of Jekka’s Herbetum and a lecture on chosen topic. Please see the full-day master class above or our available master classes online for inspiration. The discovery half-day master class is followed by an herbal infusion tasting and light refreshments.

All our discovery team days come with light refreshments of Jekka’s herbal infusions and homemade cake. A discovery team day is typically 10am - 4pm. A discovery half-day master class can be in the morning or afternoon and comes with light refreshments of Jekka’s herbal infusions and homemade cake.
Discovery team days take place in our master class venue that has a lecture space and kitchen. If you require a specific set-up or facility then please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
